Two quotes for "brick tiles" can differ a lot, and usually for good reasons. These are the things that move our rate per sq ft.
Series and finish
Smooth tiles come off the press quickly. Textured faces take an extra step before firing, and handmade tiles are formed one at a time and are thicker, so they use more clay per sq ft.
Face size
Smaller faces need more pieces for the same wall. At a 10 mm joint, a sq ft of 9×1.5 tiles takes roughly 80% more pieces than a sq ft of 9×3, which shows up in both the tile price and your mason’s labour.
Quantity
Bigger orders can be planned into one firing and loaded as a full truck, which brings the rate down. A single feature wall ships in a shared load.

Freight depends on your pin code and the load size. We show it as its own line, so you can compare our delivered cost with any other quote.

Counts are worked out from the face size plus the joint, before wastage. Add 5–10% for cuts and breakage.

Why don’t you publish a fixed brick tiles price list?
The rate changes with the series, size, order quantity and the distance to your site, and fuel and clay costs move through the year. A quote for your order is more accurate than a printed list.
Is the price per sq ft or per piece?
We quote per sq ft so you can compare tiles of different sizes directly, and we also give you the piece count. The calculator on this page converts between the two.
How much extra should I order for wastage?
Five percent is usually enough for a plain wall with few cuts. Use eight to ten percent for walls with many windows, corners or a herringbone pattern.
Does the price include delivery?
Freight is shown as a separate line in the quote, worked out from your site pin code and the load size, so you know the full cost before you confirm.
