Smooth tiles are the most even product we make. Every piece comes off the press at the same size, so a mason can keep a thin, straight joint across a whole elevation. That precision is what makes them look modern rather than rustic.
On house fronts, the 9×3 terracotta or brown tile gives the proportion of a real brick wall. In rooms, the 9×2 tile keeps the pattern finer when you stand close to it. The 9×1.5 slim tile is the one architects ask for when they want long horizontal lines on a cafe, office or showroom front.
Because the face is flat, smooth tiles are also the easiest to keep clean. Kitchens, counters and entrances that get wiped every day are better in smooth than in textured.

What are smooth brick tiles?
Smooth brick tiles are machine-pressed clay tiles with a flat face and straight, square edges. Laid with a thin, even joint they give a tidy exposed brick wall that suits modern elevations and interiors.
Which smooth brick tile size should I order?
Pick 9×3 for large fronts and boundary walls, since it covers the most area per tile. Choose 9×2 for rooms and balconies where you stand close to the wall, and 9×1.5 for a long, slim, horizontal look.
Do smooth brick tiles get dirty on exteriors?
A flat face holds less dust than a textured one and is easy to wash. On roadside walls, the brown shades hide dust better than terracotta.
